Carrie Langenbach

Meet Carrie Langenbach LMFT

Carrie Langenbach began working in the mental health field nearly twenty years ago, first gaining experience as a certified sexual assault crisis counselor. After earning her graduate degree in counseling from California State University Long Beach, she began working in the field of addiction.

Carrie relocated to Northern California, where she worked for the nation’s only welfare-to-work counseling agency. She was licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2009. While helping adults with co-occurring disorders in Hawaii, where she was also licensed as an LMFT, in 2011 she earned an international certification as a substance abuse counselor. This dual qualification enabled her to relocate to Germany where she was employed with the Department of Defense and provided counseling to Soldiers of the US Army stationed abroad. Carrie returned home to Southern California in 2013 and established a private practice in Santa Monica in 2014. Carrie earned a certificate in Animal Assisted Therapy in 2017. Her specializations include substance abuse, trauma, mood disorders and providing animal assisted therapy with her rescued Poodle/Jack Russel mix, Shelby.
